Leasing License Practice Exam

A Sponsor Card, or 45-day Temporary Permit, signifies that the individual is associated with the sponsoring broker. This temporary permit is typically issued to applicants who have completed their pre-licensing education and submitted the necessary documentation to the state but are waiting for their official license to be processed. During this interim period, the Sponsor Card allows the individual to legally engage in real estate activities under the supervision and association of a licensed broker.

This temporary status does not indicate permanent licensing; hence, the applicant is not permanently licensed. Additionally, having a Sponsor Card does not grant the licensed agent the ability to practice independently, as they must operate under the guidance of their sponsoring broker. Although passing all state exams is an important requirement to qualify for a license, a Sponsor Card does not, by itself, confirm that the applicant has passed these exams, as it is essentially a transitional credential until the final license is issued.
